All About FPS Trucking

Hi! I'm Papa Smurf.  I started my journey as a Commercial Driver back in October of 2021, right before my 36th birthday.  I attended the Stevens Transport sponsored CDL program at the Lonestar College in Houston, TX.  After graduating and acquiring my CDL, I attended orientation in Dallas, at the Stevens Transport home terminal, before going out on my trainers truck for 240hrs of behind the wheel training.  After finishing my training hours, came back to Dallas and received my own truck as a company driver.  In April of 2022, I made the decision to join the Contractor Division of the company as a Lease Operator.  
My goal with my company, FPS Trucking, is to help others interested in becoming truck drivers acquire their Commercial Drivers License, and to help beginning drivers navigate in their new career.
